You will need to complete the Care Certificate, and Functional Skills (English and Maths L2). 
Diploma - This qualification will support learners to develop the knowledge and skills to guide and inspire team members to make positive differences to someone’s life when they are faced with physical, practical, social, emotional, psychological or intellectual challenges.

They will have specialist skills and knowledge in their area of responsibilities which will allow them to lead in areas such as care needs assessment,
At the appropriate time you will need to undertake an End Point Assessment. The qualification is formed of mandatory and optional units. The mandatory units cover core competencies whilst the optional units allow learners to choose from a variety of areas to tailor the qualification to their needs, interests and to reflect the context of their work.
The content is also aligned with the knowledge and skills required for the Lead Practitioner In Adult Care Apprenticeship standards.
