Report Writing and Record Keeping for CYP

New and existing care workers and other practitioners working in the CYP health and social care settings.

By the end of this course, you will

• Be able to explain what records are and the importance of clear, accurate report writing and secure record keeping
• Have gained insight into KLoE's and outcome-based inspections; this will help learners understand their role in evidencing quality to gain 'Excellence in care'
• Have explored the 5 W's and H
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to identify fact from opinion
• Be able to identify the do's and don'ts of report writing, including evidencing MCA and ensuring the report reflects best practice
• Be able to discuss how individual assessment, listening and accurate recording help to plan a person's care and support
