Skills For Care - Lead to Succeed and Well-Led Courses

Lead to Succeed
Lead to Succeed is an educational program that enhances leadership and management skills for individuals interested in managing adult social care services.
The program utilises reflection and peer-to-peer learning to develop potential. Completion of all five modules is required to earn a certificate.
The program is designed around the Manager Induction Standards and the Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management in Adult Care, allowing delegates to build an evidence portfolio for further development.

This course is aimed at aspiring leaders and managers.
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Identify successful behaviours for leaders and managers
Develop a positive workplace culture
Recognise the benefits of effective supervision
Lead and manage the process of change
Lead and manage the inspection process

Well-Led
Well-led is a national development program aimed at adult social care service managers. This program aims to help individuals cultivate their leadership and management skills, acquire new knowledge, and obtain support and encouragement to apply their learning in practice.
The course emphasises reflection and offers a collaborative environment, connecting managers with their peers. The programme aims to empower managers to lead a workforce with the right values to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
Well-Led is designed based on the principles of the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care.

Course overview:
This course is aimed at Registered Managers and other operational managers currently working in adult social care settings who want to develop their leadership skills and knowledge.
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
Develop a clear understanding of what well-led looks like in a care setting
Develop a clear understanding of how leadership strategies and techniques can be used to transform services and improve the quality of care
Develop the confidence and skills necessary to lead services in an increasingly complex and challenging context
Develop clear goals and commitment to improve your personal leadership effectiveness
Learn from the experience of others by working with them in a range of collaborative learning activities and networking opportunities.
